Nude Series #4 is an unapologetically raw hand-crafted sculpture, formed from individually welded mild steel nuts and shaped with an intentional honesty that leaves nothing softened or concealed. The figure embraces imperfection through its exposed joins, uneven textures, and uncompromising form, allowing the industrial material to speak as loudly as the human shape itself.
Once the grinding process was complete, the sculpture was sealed with a protective varnish to preserve the natural depth and tonal variation of the steel. This finish locks in the raw character of the surface while enhancing the contrast between light and shadow across the form. It stands as a study in vulnerability and strength, transforming rigid industrial elements into a powerful expression of the human body in its most unguarded state.
